Review content:
I moved to oklahoma 1/2 way thru my first pregnancy. I saw Cindy Resneder, his wife, first and then alternated every other visit with Dr. Resneder. Cindy was nice and willing to answer questions, but nobody took time to explain anything to me. The doctor seemed always in a hurry and was very short with me, intimidating ,and unwilling to discuss a birth plan with me. Two weeks before I was due he asked if we had scheduled my induction- for all he knew I had no idea what that was. I felt like there was no time to find a new doctor. Once I was checked into the hospital he showed up to break my water without even a word- he never talked to me like a person. I felt judged because I am young but he never took the time to find out that i had been married for three years and it was a planned pregnancy. After about 6 hours of laboring in the hospital the nurse said he had called to check my progress and talked about a c-section if I didn't progress faster soon- everything was going well with no complications so we plead with the nurse to give me more time. He showed up about 10 pm obviously annoyed I wasn't ready to push so he said he would deliver forceps- during the delivery I was pushing and he said my push was almost too much. (why would he need forceps then?) Nothing was explained to me- he sent me home with medication i found out later was a risk to my baby since i was nursing. He had me come in at 3 1/2 weeks for my post exam and his wife checked me and put me on birth control. I started the birth control and started bleeding VERY HEAVY so I went somewhere else and found out I shouldn't have been on that medication- it decreased my milk supply- they put me on the right kind and I have been fine ever since.\r \r So I guess if you're an older looking patient than me you may get treated with respect- but every time I saw him I felt like a piece of trash. Pros: Friendly nurse. Cons: Dr. was cold, didn't care
