My wife and I are planning on remodeling our shower in our master bathroom with extensive glass and tile. Asked Metke to come over, provide their thoughts and a bid.
One of their 'sales/estimator' people came over and seemed aloof when looking at the space and providing very little insight into what direction they'd go with the project. I was providing more ideas and thoughts than he was - they're supposed to be the experts here!
I asked that they follow-up with a bid on the shower remodel as well as potential mantle work on our fireplace. Now at over three weeks later, I have had to follow-up twice with them and still have not heard anything back on their bid. They have reasoned that they have other 'larger' projects going on and would be in touch.
If this is how this company conducts initial meetings and follow-up service, it may be a blessing in disguise we don't get involved with a project with them. Lack of service and follow-up was extremely poor and one can only image how their finished work and project management is. Would not recommend Metke contractors/woodworking for future projects.
Pros: None that I saw - nice website??
