I have lived here for 6 long months. I, unforgivably, signed a 1 year lease agreement. The rent is 665 per month for a 1 bedroom 1 bath. Pretty typical for the area. However, you do not pay for what you get. If you would like to wake up to k-9 unit at the bottom of your stairs near your neighbors house and cop cars surrounding your vehicle and every other vehicle in the parking lot then go ahead. If you like first come, first serve parking then live here! No washer/dryer btw. Instead you can go use them in the 80's retro style club house. These apartments should be priced about 500 bucks a month. One bonus is that the entire grounds have gone smoke free. Once again, didn't work for me! I'm a smoker and signed a smoking in limited areas lease! No addendum, just changed the rules one day. Landlady is really nice however. Very cooperative. It is the inhabitants of this run down place, not the management. Dorothy has given us free lock out services, free in home maintenance. Anything we ask for is given. She seems honest, just older and losing the edge. If you can imagine a run down Hispanic meth producing environment, you can imagine these apartments. Just stay away from Allen and Lombard in general, please.
