Businiess name:  Sugarberry Apartments

Review content:
I lived at Sugarberry for one year and it was the worst year. The first week there my roommates car was stolen. Our second week there someone used a key to get into the apartment while I was there. The apartment complex didn't change the locks when the old tenant moved out! My first roommate moved out and another one moved in. Their girlfriend came down to visit during the summer and her car got broken into and her stereo was stolen and her car was keyed.\r \r During my stay at the apartment: there was a cat in the chimney that they would not get out. The air conditioner broke and it took them 7 days to fix it. I had to stay at someone elses house. The intrusion alarm was not working correctly and I had to call about that several times.\r \r On top of all of this I just moved out and cleaned the apartment...I get a call telling me that I owe them $150 for a pet deposit. I NEVER had a pet in that apartment. They told me that it smells like dog. I told them I wasn't paying the deposit since I didn't have a dog and they told me that they are turning it over to a collection agency and putting it on my credit. Well, I called my attorney and we are handling this issue.\r \r They are rude people and the complex is not safe. They show you a great apartment and you end up in a hole. I would never live her again and would not recommend this place to anyone! Pros: Good price and location. Cons: Lots of car break-ins, not enough lightening at night, lousy maintenance and rude office management.
