Consumers beware: They'll be nice to you at the store, give you discounts and free stuff, set you up with equipment, and send you home happy... until the first bill lands with a thud at your mailbox, thick and heavy with charges for all that they said would be free, and then some. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING, AT THE STORE. By the time you're done calling and trying to straighten things out, you'll need an accountant to understand the multi-page bill, a lawyer to defend you against the giant corporation, and a psychiatrist to keep you calm (forget sanity, that's long gone). Most, not all, local sales reps at the sore are nice, they try to help, but they have limited authority. When you have to deal with the national HQ, you're just another small fry, and you better pay up, or they'll cut your service and come after you. Verizon Wireless has the best coverage in Upstate NY, hands down. So if you work out of town or travel a lot, you're stuck with them. But if you only need the phone in town, do yourself a favor and find a different provider. Also, you can't share data with other phones on your family plan. Each and every phone has to pay extra $30.00 per month for 2gb of data, which is a lot for the avarage user. It'd have been enough for my whole family, but they don't allow it. Sleazy to the core.
