Review content:
I never had marinara sauce like this before (quartered tomatos on pasta). I politely told the waitress that unfortunately I could not eat it and the OWNER (wife) wanted to charge me for the meal - even though I did not eat it. I explained that was my first time at the restaurant and was not aware of the way they made the sauce, I 'm sorry, I cannot eat it. The OWNER (now the husband) came to me at the table and YELLED at me, saying they sell their sauce by the gallons every day and if I thought I was getting a free meal it was NOT happening there! That was not my intention, in fact I had not eaten any of the pasta. I was also asked what I expected him to do with it, throw it away? I did not mean to insult them in any way, but apparantly this did. The owner (husband) however, did not have a problem insulting the other types of sauces because he asked me if I expected him to puree it and make it SMOOOOOTH. The owners actrions were totally uncalled for!! The restaurant was full of patrons, every one of which I am sure heard his outburst because all eyes were on him. That certainly is no way to treat a customer, especially a new customer. Well, they don't have to worry about me anymore, and I am spreading the word so nobody else gets treated in this manner.
