Review content:
I love this place it reminds me of a store you would see when traveling through the mountains. It has several garage doors that are open so the air flows through. They have hot boiled peanuts on this cute little wood buring stove, that the very friendly & helpful employees say serves as their heat in the winter. \r
\r
The decor is an exact description of the name, Hillbilly. The produce is fresh and cheap, with a good variety and several local items. They also have a very large selection of Amish pickled items, salsas, and jams. Local honey, local bbq sauces, old time candy, dairy products, free-range eggs, meat, & pork, and of course ole time country ham. \r
\r
Throughout the seaons they have pumpkins, christmas trees, and flowers. The pine needles are the cheapest in town & they deliver (for a small fee). They also have a selection of organic and regular soils and fertilzers.\r
\r
It is a family owned business, so don't be surprised if you run into one of the very enthusiastic members of Hillbilly Produce family while shopping!
Pros: Family friendly, locally grown produce, cheapest pine needles
Cons: Traffic on Independence Blvd, parking can be hard on weekends
