Review content:
We have had a terrible experience with this company. We started wth Miller around 3 years ago- they were the builder's landscaper. We bought a Camwest home. I am one of those peope that accepts bad or marginal service and doesn't say anything. We have a very small lot and we are really busy at work, so we thought we would retain the service. During the time we used their service, I would put down bark dust and the way that they do maintenance would be with blowers. We have a small water feature and they would continually fill it with bark dust, earth, leaves. This was very annoying. The small piece of grass we have, they were never able to keep green - they said that would be extra. Several of our shrubs and small trees have died. We repeatedly asked for bids on dog-proofing our yard (it was fenced but had gaps under the fence) - they said they would quote on it, but despite several calls from us, and promises from them, they never followed through. \r Now, it comes to the bill. They said I was late on 2 months of bills in July of 2011. I went over my records for the past year, and pulled up every check number they had cashed, and it turns out they were right, I hadn't mailed the check in for May. I immediately did this. When I called the offic,e to talk to the owner, Fred Miller, I told him the situation. He said the problem went past a year ago, and that obviously, I didn't know accounting, and that he had done accounting before he went into landscaping. He treated me as if I were an idiot. He said plants die, that this billing problem had arisen because he had customers more past due than I was, and that basically all of my issues were my fault. He did not wish to discuss the bill, but threatened collections, when I have been a great customer for three years. We have paid $125 per month like clockwork for service for the last three years. I cannot recommend Miller. Quite the contrary, this is the only negative review I have ever given a business. I feel so strongly about this experience, I had to say something.
