Review content:
I haven't written a review for any restaurant in ages, but the experience at Destefano's was so wonderful that I had to add my two cents. I went the first time less than a month ago and returned last night and hope to return many more times. The filet is the best I have ever had, so big I can't finish it, and it tastes even better the next night. The carrots and mashed potatoes are also so tasty - I've never been one to eat my vegetables, but I clean my plate. The tiramisu came compliments of the owner when I told him it was my mom's birthday. They actually shut all the lights off and brought it to her with a candle. It feels more like an Italian restaurant than a steakshouse, and I liked it. Worth the trip to Brooklyn. Can't wait to go back.
Pros: awesome steaks, homey feel
Cons: not in manhattan
