Best for experienced riders, the real cowboy types will like this country retreat on the edge of Medard park in hillsborough county. It's a rescue farm, they train and trail ride the horses. Many guides are just kids, but they get lots of experience with many types of horses. Horses are unpredictable. They are real live horses folks. If you wanna pony ride, don't come here... Try the circus. They will hold a reins for you and walk you around a little circle. If you want a challenge, and are a decent rider (you might endure a horse that kicks, bucks or swings it's head.) this is a good place to ride. Once a month you can go to see barrel races, and they have a nice tack shop.
