Review content:
Great cheap homemade Italian American food. Service is very pleasant and acceptable (usually w/o a smile or needless chit-chat but served fast) and the food is plentiful and tasty. The restaurant itself is not a looker, but if you're looking for that that slightly out of the way 'secret' in Utica, don't hesitate to recommend to a friend.\r

If you can handle the neighborhood (and most can on a weekday around lunchtime), stop in for the insanely packed ""lunch platter"" with a huge steaming plate of 5 baked pasta (including stuffed manicotti raviolis and baked ziti) with meatball or sausage and it comes with soup or salad and bread for about $6-7!\r

Best lunch deal in town
Pros: Food quality and taste; fast service
Cons: scetchy neighborhood, ambiance is blue-collar at best
