These reviews are fantastic or horrible. Unfortunately I got horrible.
They dug out the old driveway and said they would call in a week or two after it had settled to schedule paving it. I went the next day and it was already paved. A guy working on my house said the mayor of the village and the village code inspector had been by to look at extensive damage caused by the pavers to the sidewalk. Why would the mayor be there? Apparently these guys have damaged so much village property in the past that they are thinking of requiring a permit to do a driveway just so they have before and after documentation of this one company.
The first contact with the company was 4 days later the owner called me up, quoted word for word off the top of his head a line in the contract saying they were not responsible for any damage they did, tried to start an argument and threatened legal action. The same day I got a form letter saying payment was due in 10 days.
The damage was bad, but maybe legally they wrote themselves a get out of jail free card and I should have read it more carefully, but the whole attitude I got from the company was just.....nasty?
Pros: cheap
Cons: worst company I've EVER dealt with
