Review content:
Bought a great leather motorcycle jacket in the spring (08"") at a great price(one of the nicest jackets I ever tried on or bought). About 2 months later the inner liner zipper started to come apart from the jacket. I figured since it was only 2-3 months old, I'd return it for a warranty repair. It was taken back with no problems. After 1 month, I contacted G&G to see if it was repaired and it was still at the repair shop. Another month later , it still was not repaired. I talked to G&G on a Monday and made it clear I needed my jacket back and was told it was lost but G&G would order me another one from a different company (couldn't get my particular jacket anymore) but it would be similar, better quality and it would be in Wednesday. Went to the store that Wednesday(same week) and was told they couldn't get it. Still trying to make good, I was shown a variety of leather jackets to replace mine but they were not the same style and I did not care for them. I wasn't about to settle for something I didn't like when I was paying $250. Anyway, the next statement was ""I have your original jacket in the back"". I was dumb-founded because I was told it got lost...the repair guy didn't have it nor did G&G and now all of a sudden, it appeared, still not repaired. The next excuse was that the manufacturer rejected it and would not repair it so G&G was going to send it to a local repair guy. At this point , I didn't want to wait any longer and took it with me for my wife to repair. Still trying to make good, I was offered some merchandise for my trouble which was a good business decision. So in summary...G&G Leather, I believe is still a great leather store with very good products at great prices! I do have to say at NO time was the owner rude or tried to dismiss me and was very pleasant & accomodating for my troubles. I just cant figure if I was givin the run-around or if they really did attempt to have it repaired, I doesn't seem that way...you decide????????
Pros: No pressure sales, Very good prices for leather products , good selection
Cons: weak communication link between store and customer for warranty repairs
