I recently went to STS because my engine was miss -firing and and not running smoothly. They said I needed a $350 tune up. They replaced the parts and could not get the car restarted. They told me that the engine probably needed to be rebuilt and that would cost about $2000 to fix. I told them that was not going to happen. O wait, the next day they called me back and told me what I needed was a $400 fuel pump. This would definitely get the car running and I OKed the work. Another day passes and they still can't get it running. O wait, it now needs a resistor for the distributor. I said replace the resistor. A day later they call and say the car is finally running. When I go back, I'm thinking that I really didn't need the fuel pump at all, and I ask to see the old pump to check out if it was really defective. Guess what, they couldn't find my fuel pump, it somehow disappeared from the dumpster. The mechanics at this shop are incompetent at best or downright dishonest. Do yourself a favor and avoid this shop.
