Businiess name:  Il Fornaio At The New York New York Hotel
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
During our recent vacation to Las Vegas, my wife and I tried Il Fornaio, based on favorable reviews we read on the Internet. What a disappointment! This place is the Olive Garden at twice the price. The bread was not even close to the quality we can get at dozens of Italian bakeries in Philadelphia. My lasagne was tasteless, meager and the sauce tasted like it was from a jar. My wife had penne in a blush or vodka sauce which had congealed into a state of sticky, unappetizingness. Our Maragaritas (at $11.00 each) were a blend of amaretto and normal margarita ingredients. I'll give points for originality but not for taste. I understand this chain is from the West Coast. I can only hope that Californians have better Italian restaurants than Il Fornaio. Pros: Ambience (restaurant is in the casino) is nice. Cons: The food was less than mediocre.
