Do not recommend!!! In April, I brought my car to Lee for a timing belt, water pump and tune-up. He called me and said that I had oil leaks that needed repaired. I told him not to fix them since the amount was so small. He didn't take no for an answer and told me that they had already started the repairs without my permission. He convinced me that all these repairs were necessary and that my car would give me several good years. He replaced many parts without my prior approval and the bill totaled about $1200. In October, I was shocked after failing DEQ. Lee said that he knew exactly why my car failed DEQ, stating that it has ""blow-by"". (He failed to mention that the rings are shot and will require a major engine overhaul). I brought my car in again in Nov, 2007 because I saw more oil under the hood and it was now burning 1 qt of oil every 250 miles. He finally explained to me that blow-by means that my car has bad rings and needs a major engine overhaul (cost of $2000)!!!!! \r Lee lied to me about the actual condition of my car, knowing that it had bad rings and convinced me into wasting $1200 on useless repairs. And to top that off, he suggested that I agree to have him repair the rings (which would cost me another $2000) on a car that has a Blue Book value of less than $1000. \r Lee is a sharp mechanic and a great salesman....but I found out he will sell you the moon if you let him!!!\r I contacted him a week ago, expressing how unhappy I am that he took advantage of my ignorance about cars and talked me into wasting $1200 on useless repairs for a car with a bad engine and that I want to be fully reimbursed. I have not received a response from him or any money back.
