Review content:
We paid $1000 for a routine tune up & front brakes on a Jeep Truck. The end result? We were out $1000 bucks and the truck had problems it had never had before... It actually had trouble starting & would putter at times. Wasn't doing that before - seems a bit odd right? \r
\r
I had another mechanic look at it (since I don't know a thing about cars). He said if we paid for a tune up, he wasn't sure what we got for it. After we paid the new mechanic to give it ANOTHER tune-up, it ran like it was supposed to.\r
\r
We also had Canyon Auto take a look at a ""clanking"" noise that the truck made when you turned right or left. They told us the transmission was going out. When we took it to the new mechanic, they replaced the fluid in the transfer case & the ""clanking"" went away. Not a transmission problem...\r
\r
My recommendation - do not go to these guys. Just like the reviewer below said... they're clever...\r
