Review content:
Stood in line for 90 minutes at the Hot Chicken Festival to experience the magic that is Bolton's. My friends and I hit several different hot chicken places, split up and all stood in line for over 90 minutes, and Boltons was the clear winner.
I received my chicken at about 2:30 and it was hot, freshly cooked and tasty.Their mild is a more sweet and hot taste, while there hot is a dark intense HOT spice. Incredible. The chicken was perfectly cooked, sweet, tender, juicy and they were doing the best the could considering the Hot Chicken Festival keeps getting larger every year.
They came prepared this year with 2 trucks and were the last place at the festival still serving. Amazing experience, well worth it and I am looking forward to enjoy their chicken at their restaurant . Don't base the quality of their food on the time it took at a festival that drew a couple thousand people that everyone says you will stand in line forever.
If you want hot chicken in Nashville, this is my recommended place to go.
