Took my 2004 Jeep Liberty in with a rattle in the back end. I thought it was a U-Joint. Dave, owner, went for a drive with me, heard the noise, wasn't sure what the problem was, but offered to ""take a look"" at the drive train. I left the car with him for five days (was heading out of town on vacation). When I got back he told me no charge. He had torn apart the whole drive line, check the ball and U joints, determined that they were fine, then took the Jeep out for a second test drive. He identified that the rattle only happend when the overdrive kicked in, the problem was in the transmission. Either way, he spent a couple of hours on my rig and didn't charge me. He could have told $300 for ""shop time"" and I would have felt obligated to pay. Only thing that sucks is that my family is moving out of state and Extra Mile will not be located in our new state. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND EXTRA MILE TO ANYONE WHO WANTS AN HONEST MECHANIC AND SOMEONE THEY CAN TRUST WITH THEIR CAR....
