My wife and I just moved from Los Angeles less than a year ago. In LA, we were used to having good Indian food and so when we moved to the Triangle, we were eager to find some here. After asking for recommendations, we were told about Udupi in Cary and Sitar in Durham. Both were good, but Udupi was vegetarian only, and I like meat; Sitar was good the first time, but not so good the second time. Then we found Tandoor on NC55. This place is consistently excellent! The spices are hot and the Nan is always fresh. I didn't think a buffet could be this good, but even the buffet's food is excellent. We are regular customers here now and I really don't think it would be worth it to try a somewhere else. Thank you, Tandoor, for giving us the food we know and love.
