Dr. Jackman was the first - and only - eye doctor who took the time and had the expertise to diagnosis my vision problems correctly.
First, she discovered I suffered from convergence insufficiency, so she added some prism to my reading glasses. I was able to read a little, finally.
Then, she recommended vision therapy, which enabled me to actually read comfortably for the first time in ten years.
Even my opthalmologist, who I really liked, and was patient and smart, just didn't have the tools to handle these issues.
I'm eternally grateful to Dr. Jackman for my being able to enjoy a good book again!
