Review content:
At first glance it may look like a place you want to pass by, but you truly don't want to miss the outstanding food and value of this place. The restaurant/bar is family owned and operated and the food is authentic and homemade. The mother of the family is the cook and she greets every customer when they are finished eating. The family is Hungarian and so is the food. You walk into the restaurant, seat yourself, and in no time at all a waitress is bringing you a complimentary bowl of homemade soup and some homemade bread along with the menu. On Saturdays, the have a small buffet with a variety of authentic dishes for about $11.00. The rest of the menu consists of dishes like: stuffed cabbage rolls (halupki), chicken paprika, hungarian goulash, spinach crepes, and beef stew to name just a few. My husband and I had 1 buffet, hungarian goulash, 2 cans of soda, and 2 desserts along with the complimentary bowls of soup and our bill totaled only $30.00. We were truly impressed with the service, the atmosphere, the food, and the prices and we will definitely be going back!
