This isn't the first time my family has gone to this restaurant. 6 or 7 years ago had an extremely bad dining experience and vowed never to go back ~ but a family member told us it was now under new management so we relucantly agreed to go. \r \r We arrived at the restaurant at 5:45 and there was only 1 other table (of 2 people) seated. It was my mother-in-\r laws birthday and this is where she wanted to go. So our table consisted of 12 family member (2 of those were my grandchildren ages 1 and 4 years). So we all place our drink order and ordered our meals. We specifically stated that these were separate checks. No problem we were told. \r \r Since they didn't have ""childrens menus"" available, the waitress told us what was available. (I paid $6.99 for my grandsons (1year old) grilled cheese sandwich and fries-this was supposed to come with a drink but since he already had his sippy cup we didn't order him one and the waitress never told us this was supposed to come with a drink) \r \r Our food slowly came out of the kitchen......almost everything was cold. Cold french fries for the kids. Cold/burnt lamb for the greek salad. Now keep in mind this is about 7:25 when we finally got our food. The restaurant was not busy. Sitting there so long we were able to clearly see the other tables in the restaurant. A family of 4 came in and another famiy of 3. So total all night there were only 19 patrons in the restaurant from 5:45 to 8:15 when we finally left. To say the least they weren't busy. In fact we were able to clearly see the employees outside smoking (1 of which was the cook - I know only since I spoke to the manager the next day and described the employee). The wedding soup was watered down and luke warm. The only good thing we had was the warm pita bread which the waitress brought out 1 plate of for our large table.\r \r Finally the check comes ~ and everything is on one check. Just anxious to finally leave, I paid the bill. My family tried several times to voice our displeasure with the owner.......he never returned my phone calls. \r \r Pittsburgh is loaded with fantastic greek festivals with authentic greek food......locate any of them and enjoy the delicious food from that country.....
