Living in L.O I already have my beloved Wanfu Chinese Restaurant, but my best girl friends lives in SE and when I go met up with them we dine at Powells Seafood. The decor and outside apperance could use a little facelift but overall it's a comfortable environment and the waitress have worked there for years. She's super fast, prompt seating, hot food, never a bad visit. I recommend the salt and pepper squid, eggplant (chinese eggplant are better vs the american ones) and their hot clay pots are always good. oh, their lunch specials is a steal!
Pros: great value and food portion, delicious, fast service
Cons: newcomer tip: parking lot has limited spacing but there's always street parking!
