In 2005 the district was just begining it's slide. Check the 09 state test scores. Better yet-attend an event at the high school and see the horrible conditions for yourself. As of 6/4/2009 the district is slated for the state to step in much like the city of Detroit, no kidding-look into it! It's sad really. The high school principle has been in the district way too long-yes he retired and is drawing a pension from the district-but he was kept on while working for a temp service! 09/010 school year at least 1 other administrator is set-up for the same deal.\r They needed revamped in 2005 and it's even worse in 2009. Pros: some good teachers Cons: school district, administrators
