About a month ago I had pain in my right shoulder and arm for about 3 weeks. This pain was bad: 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and I could not put my arm in any position to get relief. So, I went to my doctor who referred me to a neurosurgeon. My wife already told me not to let anyone cut me. After the neurosurgeon looked at my MRI he found a pinched nerve between my 5th and 6th vertebrae. The neurosurgeon immediately found 2 necessary but seperate operations to relieve me of the shoulder and arm pain. I was so ready to be rid of this pain I was almost ready to say go with the operation. I spoke with my wife about the neurosurgeon's suggestion (I need 2 seperate operations). She highly suggested I see a Chiropractor. My co-worker highly suggested I see a Chiropractor. My wife had seen Dr. Spector about 15 years ago with a similar problem. I called Dr. Spector to explain my pain. Then I asked him, ""can you help me?"" He said, ""sure we can because that's what we do."" I immediately felt hope getting rid of the ... in my right shoulder and arm for about 3 weeks. He gave me an appointment for x-rays the next day. His manner was pleasant, calm, and sure of his ability to make me feel better. The next day he explained in detail what was going on with me and what he needed to do, Treatment began that same day or the next day I'm not sure. I was set to see him 3 days a week. In that first week I started to feel some relief . By the time I had treatment over a period of 4 sessions the pain was gone. Dr. Spector did not give me any medication. Dr. Spector did not cut me open. At this point (one month into treatment) I feel great. I don't know anything I can do to show him my appreciation, so I will continue coming to him until he get all the money my insurance company will allow him to get. (That was a little humor, but true).
