I bought a 1 carat diamond ring from them back in april of thisyear (2010) and its not Sep. and the engament failed months ago and its been siting the whole time. IU attempted to sell it to J browns jewlery store as they by back rings and gold and the appraiser said that the ring was cut poorly and the quality was horrible, and in so many words...a piece of sh#@. I called Gold valley and they told me anyone can say bad things about the work, etc etc. I started calling a few places and now plan to get it appraised to see whats what. I called them back asking if they do appraisels and in a shaky voice I got a long version of no! That they do original appraisel i.e. original worth. Not of the diamond. I am going to have major words with them if this ring turns out to be some B.s. or if the Jewler atj browns was trying to be cheap because he only offered me 50$ on a ring i paid 1200 for in April and was barely worn.
