I have a little bit of insight into the painting world because I helped my brother-in-law start his own painting business a couple years ago and we converse about it often. So when I had to have my house painted and my brother-in-law was too busy to take the work ( he lives a few hours away ) I called in 6 painters to quote my house which is a 3k sq ft house with some brick facing on in West Linn, Oregon.
Ran from Oren painting immediately made me feel comfortable with his level of professionalism and his level of expertise. His contract is direct ( be sure and read all of the contracts for the bids ), and while his bid wasn't the lowest that I received it was definitely on the lower end and about 50% less than my highest bids.
When it came time to paint the house Ran scheduled me in quickly, did an excellent job of preparing the house and fixed many minor imperfections in the siding and facia boards. Oren painting also painted my front door, and when they thought they broke the lock assembly ( it was already broken ) they called in a locksmith to have it fixed on their own dime. The whole crew was extremely professional and cleaned up their mess completely. The house looks excellent now, and I haven't found any minor details where the house could use any touch up.
The bottom line is that if you want your house painted right for a fair price, give Ran at Oren Painting a call and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
