I went to have my timing belt and water pump changed, but unfortunately there were more problems with my car. The difference between what he quoted for just the timing belt and water pump and the final outcome was not a very big difference at all, and the parts that were added were more expensive then the timing belt and water pump. Labor costs are average, but cheaper than dealerships and PepBoys etc.\r

I also needed my car back as soon as possible. Even though he estimated 2 days, he had my car done in less than 3 or 4 hours after the parts were in the next day. \r

I have been to other places in Albany to have work done on my car, including the actual dealership and there is no doubt in my mind I found an actual place I can rely on, now that I live in Albany. \r

He is a quiet man, polite, and his family has been in the business for over 80 years I believe. I HIGHLY recommend Germanos. Despite other reviews I read; there will always be someone that is insane and unrealistic.
