My husband and I happened to spot this restaurant while looking for a parking spot at the Beaverton Town Center shopping center. Its bright red sign and clean, attractive, and simple windows are your first clue that Hae Rim might be special. We've been to Korea several times. This reminded us of the many small, welcoming eating places there. We had the pan-fried seafood pancake with green onion - beautfiul to look at: soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, filled with calamari and served with flavorful chili oil. For main courses we ordered barbecued beef and ""BiBimBob,"" a mixture of rice, small bits of beef, vegetables and a soft fried egg - served in a blazing hot iron pot/bowl. You mix in several sauces to taste, stir it up - and it's fantastic. The wait staff saw to our every need, bringing hot tea, Diet Coke, water, and extra kimchi efficiently and in a totally homey and friendly way. We loved Hae Rim, felt totally cared for, and will return again soon. Pros: Great menu, fresh tasty food, clean restaurant, easy parking, super friendly service, authentic. Cons: can't think of any!
