This is stated to be Santa Maria (Calif.) style BBQ, as if we didn't have enough varieties already. Still, it's flavorful stuff with good quality meats all around. What's surprising is that the moderately spicy BBQ, ribs and tri-tip, is consistent. Aficionados know that at most places, you could end up with underdone or charcoal if you show up at the wrong time. Not here. And the tri-tip is always very tender. The half chicken is a big size as you used to expect and is also consistently tender, not BBQ'd but with a light spicy glaze. Sides include a corn salad and a great chopped cole slaw very reminiscent of KFC with a little green onion for kick (good idea!). If you get slabs or a whole chicken for takeout, the relative price comes down and still includes sides. Carnivores take note! Pros: casual Cons: it's the only one AFAIK
