We go out to eat all the time and I've never been inspired to write a review, but I absolutely had to write this - especially given the glowing reviews mentioned here. We were So disappointed with this place! Service can make or break a meal and our experience last night was horrible. \r

The food itself was quite tasty and generous. The menu had lots of interesting choices so it was tough to decide. My first impression was that we'd just have to come back a few more times to taste everything we wanted, but after being ignored pretty much from the start (in a not very busy restaurant) we're not so sure we'd want to deal with the aggravation. We finished our wine and have to look around for our waitress to get another (she was busy chatting with the bartender); had to then wait quite a while before having the wine actually delivered. We finished our meals and watched our waitress repeatedly pass our table without taking the dirty plates away. I can understand if she was busy, but she literally passed by, looked over, saw our plates, looked around her station at her other tables, poured a glass of wine for someone and walked by us AGAIN to stand by the bar. Even when we asked for the check, the waitress dropped the check and STILL left the dishes! Get a clue! I'd love to go back for the food, but it's so not worth the aggravation. This place would be GREAT if it only had an experienced, attentive wait staff.
Pros: Good food/Generous portions
Cons: Wait service - boy did we ever!
