Review content:
I know that one does not merely chance upon Simi Valley by accident, but should you ever find yourself in this out of the way corner of Los Angeles, treat yourself to this delightful buffet restaurant. It is spacious, clean, friendly, well staffed and delicious. You will find a full Mongolian Wok station, sushi, cold seafood and salads, hot seafood and savories, appetizers and a mountain of desserts. The Piking chicken is perfect as is the marinated fried fish. They prepare a unique salad of broccoli stems that have been sliced thin, then chilled with sesame oil and chili peppers so that they wilt slightly but retain a wonderful crunch. The flavor and texture of this salad was so captivating that if I had been served only this one dish, I would have been well satisfied with the meager $12.95 for the meal. I look forward to my next excuse to foray to Simi Valley and visit this charming restaurant again.
Pros: Well prepared and tasty food with a vast selection and unique dishes for $12.95
Cons: Out of the way, watch out for tables with little kids if you like quiet dining
