My husband just took me here for my anniversary- what a great location, and a break from fighting traffic in Portland. Take yourself for a beautiful drive up the gorge, and treat yourself to the Columbia river views, the Vista House, and end at The View Point Inn for dinner, lunch or brunch! This is a special treat type of place, food you thought you would never order turns out to be the best thing you have ever tasted. You will love the small personal feel of the View Point Inn, carefully restored - looks old, but comfortable and a view like none other. If you live on the eastside (gresham, etc) this is such a great place for dinner on a week night, if you are tired of the gresham metro area. There is no detail left undone, right down to the presentation of dessert- get the carmel brownie with lemon curd, you will be in heaven!
