Review content:
We have just returned home to Australia after spending five weeks travelling Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, and the Canadian Rockies. On Monday 20 July 2009 we were travelling the Columbia River Gorge Highway, and looking for somewhere to have lunch followed the signs off the highway to the View Point Inn. It was an absolutely wonderful and unexpected highlight of our trip. The location, the view, the inn itself and its history, the food, and the staff were all highlights. We would like to pass on a special thanks to 'Blueberry' who served us in a friendly and professional way including tips for local attracions we hadn't planned. We followed his advice and were delighted. It added value to an already excellent experience. We have spoken about the lunch at the VPI as one the unexpected highlights of our trip. Please pass our thanks to him and that we followed his tip.\r

Thanks again and please pass on our thanks to your staff and to Blueberry who may remember David and Tricia from Brisbane, Australia.\r

Pros: Food, a value-added experience
Cons: Hard to think of any
