Seriously, I am loathe to write this but.....the service at Palate is really, really bad. Everyone from the lobotomized front desk hostess to the confused, in the perpetual weeds waitstaff really needs to be examined for replacement. When we finally did get sat (long story) we were met, 10 minutes later by a (very nice) waitress who knew absolutely nothing about the wine list. This is a problem if you have a wine list such as Palate's! Anyhow, it was just kinda like that from there. From the snarls on the faces of the other patrons, they weren't getting much better. Too bad, as the food and wine at Palate is very good. Iron out the kinks, and we'll be back.
