I took my favourite pair of Harley Davidson boots in for new soles. I was appalled at the price tag of $80 to repair but went ahead as I love my boots.\r
After pick up - the first time it rained one of them leaked! One two successive visits all that has been done is tacks added that just fall out after one wear. It looks to me like the sole wasn't sewn on correctly. I just can't be bothered to go back again so my partner bought me a new pair! What a waste of time and money!
