Review content:
These folks do Hi-Fi sales right. They listen to you and what you want and then make suggestions and give demos of the equipment. They are not pushy. They have great equipment over a broad price range and they want you to be happy - so you will come back. Take a few of your favorite cd's with you and drop in to preview some equipement. You can preview a selection of speakers, amps, pre-maps, cd-players and dvd players. You won't be presssured to buy but they will probably make you offers that are hard to refuse. Plus when you hear how good your favorite cd sounds on great equipment you'll realize what a great investment it is and how much you've been missing. I purchased a set of Revel M-22 speakers last year that were on sale - half price baby. If I wanted to I could sell them now on Augiogon for a profit. But I think I would sell everytyhing else I own before I sold these wonderful speakers. Everytime I listen to them I'm thrilled that I bought them. How many things can you say that about? I also bought a Rotel pre-amp at the same time. This year I'm going back for a CD player and a power amp. They understand that most people will build up their system over time. The salesman who helped me, Paul, is still there and very knowledgeable and helpful. \r

Last year I upgraded my system from garden variety Onkyo components and PSB speakers. As soon as I did I realized that I should have taken the plunge long ago. The quality of the sound is easily 10 times better than it was. \r
\r
So instead of spending $1000 at a big box store why not get more b@ng for your buck and be treated like a person at the same time? Every time you listen to your system after that you will thank yourself.\r
\r
P.S. Once you're on their customer list you'll get advance notice of upcoming sales too.
Pros: Great selection, knowledgable staff, prices - deal cutting
Cons: Not free, closed on Sundays, limited evening hours,
