Businiess name:  Shogun Japanese Steak & Sushi
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I've ben to many Japanese Steakhouses, and Shogun by far is the worst.\r \r First was the wait. Apparently they didn't feel the need to try and seat 4 people for a meal. They wanted more. So our party had to wait for at least 45 minutes before another couple showed up.\r \r Then they were out of the Japanese Beer. \r \r The sushi left a lot to be desired as well. They were out of nearly half of what we had wanted. We finally just passed on the sushi altogether and waited for the food. \r \r Another thing for this place to look into is liability. Cooking foods on the same surface is not always a good idea, especially with those who have food allergies (such as shellfish). I had to ask twice that the surface and utensils be cleaned after the chef had prepared the lobster and scallops. Sorry, but I don't relish a night in the ER because someone doesn't think about cross contamination.\r \r All in all, I will not be going back there again.\r \r Waste of time, waste of money and there wasn't even a show. Just cooking and that's it. I think our party would have been better off making the trek to Oishi in Chesterfield. Cons: service, atmosphere, value for money
