To live here you must sign an agreement to follow a lot of picky rules. While these rules do limit some freedoms, like not being able to work on a car on your own lot, they also help keep the place fairly clean and orderly. In general this is a safe and pleasant neighborhood with very little crime. There are nice people and well maintained homes. The rent does rise each year and the management does try to make small improvements like additions to the playground and patching the roads. Eventually they do need to redo the roads and that will be an expensive project. I fear for the rent increase that year! All in all, I prefer living here to renting an apartment. In a manufactured home we have private space. The pool is small but clean and well supervised. A curfew does limit night time wanderings of teens. This adds to my feeling of security. There are no stores within walking distance, but the YMCA with a wonderful indoor pool is only a half mile from my door. By walking about 20 minutes I can catch an hourly bus into the town of Eagan but would like a closer bus stop. The on site management is responsive to phone questions and is helpful. Pros: Appearance, especially in the summer. Location. Pet and child friendly Cons: Roads in older section are really looking tired!
