I started renting from Cinequipt (and the now apparently merged Lighthouse) eight years ago in film school. I assumed that the high quality, service and knowledge that I came to expect from Cinequipt was the norm of rental houses. Working in other cities with lesser rental houses gave me a different appreciation for Cinequipt-- it absolutely stands out as a stellar facility. I've never run into damaged or dirty equipment from them and their staff is very patient and polite with questions. In one instance of their mistake, they immediately corrected it, even though it was afterhours. I always look forward to working with Cinequipt.
Pros: Service, quality, communication, knowledge of equipment
Cons: Online rental catalog is weirdly designed
