Review content:
I was down in Laguna Seca for MotoGP and needed a nice ""date"" place to take my boyfriend on Sunday. Using the reader reviews as a guide I decided to go to Passionfish and I'm happy to say I was extremely pleased. The service, from the host all the way to our server (who just happened to be Cindy, the chef's wife) was excellent. They were friendly, knowledgeable and very warm. We were treated like family. The space was clean and well lit, and while there were many conversations going on, I didn't find it to be exceptionally noisy. However, what was exceptional was the food! The fish was absolutely fresh, from the salmon to the ahi to the sturgeon. Their crab cakes are awesome and their desserts with the suggested apertif or tea (we chose tea) were remarkable. Our only complaint was the salad dressing was a bit strong. Otherwise, the greens were very fresh and the salad accessories (beets, goat's cheese, etc.) were very tasty. Overall, we give it an A+
