Review content:
Roger (the owner) seemed like a good guy to work with until we signed the contract. We had nine windows and a patio door installed, including a large 3 lite picture window. Some of the edges of the vinyl around the outside of the 3 lite appear crooked; like someone wasn't paying attention when they put the window together. Apparantly that's just how they're made. Also, one of the double hungs wasn't installed square, and when we got the first good rain a bunch of water soaked into the wall around the patio door because of bad caulking. When these issues were brought up, we got no response from Valley. I had to complain to Vista (the window manufacturer) before anything was done. Overall, it was the way Valley dealt with the problems that irritates me- not the problems themselves. Everybody makes mistakes, it's what's done after that matters. The one upside is that Vista products have a very good warranty, and their customer service was very responsive. We will probably buy Vista windows again when we finish the house, but we will definitely not buy them through Valley Construction.
