Review content:
I was away from home and had a problem wi,th my air conditioner. I stopped in and talked to Robert Coduti in the service department and he was great! He had the techs run a diagnostic and found the problem to be a two part problem. He then called my extended warranty service (VehicleOne) and explained the fix required a two function fix as described in the GM manual. The extended warranty company said they would not pay for the computer update to determine if it was the problem (which is the first step called for in the manual) if it didn't fix the problem and the actuator had to be replaced. And if the computer update didn't fix it I would be out of pocket for it as well as the deductable for replacing the actuator. All said and done Robert did a great job of trying to explain how the job was done and that it was all one job not two separate jobs. Still, the idiot at VehicleOne would not give authorization for the work! Needless to say I was pissed to no end! But Robert after being on hold just hung up and worked with me to get the job done at a fare price. I would work with Robert Coduiti at Ron Baker Chevrolet again if I had to get work on my truck done in San Diego. But let it be known to all that read this.... Don't waist your hard earned money on an extended warranty unless it is a true GM one.
