Took my girlfriend to Hall Street last night because she said she was in the mood for a ""Great Steak Restaurant""....\r

Typically Hall Street would be a Great choice. I hadnt been here in over a year, but every time I've been here in the past has provided knockout service and food.....I had high expectations.\r

The Service we received was good (no complaints there), but the Steaks were quite average.\r
\r
My girlfriend had the Ribeye special which was good but far from Exceptional.\r
\r
I had the Grilled Prime Rib which was also pretty good, but the Au Jus was extremely salty (far more so than typical) and the Prime Rib was completely overwhelmed with black pepper (Weird).\r

Not bad enough to complain about, but certainly far below my expectation for what has, historically, been an exceptional establishment....\r
