Review content:
I have used the Community Food Bank on several occasions through Head Start and also through our BackPack for Kids program at school. It is such a blessing to have a food bank available locally to provide food and other necessities to our families in need at a very reasonable cost. We have many students in the backpack program and their faces light up when they receive their packages and know they will have snacks for the weekend at home. For some children, these are the main food items they will have while at home. They tell us that they do not have food at home and don't eat breakfast and lunch. This helps us as staff feel that we are helping to alleviate some of that hunger. Thank you Community Food Bank for all that you do!
