I'm starting to suspect that a few of these very negative reviews are from staff of other restaurants, as I have seen them on several other sites and they are not at all accurate. \r

The food is excellent, but the reason we keep going back is the service. I'm not sure if some negative reviews were people simply being impatient or rude, but we've had nothing less than stellar service every single time we've been to Ban Thai, and we've been going for about three years now an average of three times per month. The staff members know perfect English and they've never had trouble understanding us. They remember our faces and the last time we were in. I've recommended this place to several good friends who are picky about Thai. I used to write restaurant reviews for a Cincinnati publication, so I've been to a lot of independent places. This is one of the best.
Pros: friendly staff, excellent taste, sushi bar
Cons: some items slightly expensive
