Review content:
I bank with a reputable federal credit union in the Cincinnati, Ohio area that has given me nothing but A+ service. The only problem is limited ATM locations. Out of the convenience of more community ATM locations, I decided to open a checking account (in addition to my credit union account) with the National City Bank branch at: 5203 Delhi Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45238. To the best of my knowledge, this was sometime in the spring of 2009. At the time I opened the account, I left with a good impression of the place. It was in a good location, the place was neat and clean, and the employees were friendly. This still holds true. A word of caution though! In the middle of November 2009 I used my National City debit card extensively for gas, store, and food purchases. I didn’t record the debit transactions in my ledger because I assumed that the bank would not let me spend more than was actually in my checking account. This has always been the case with my credit union debit card. On a rare occasion I have debited my account (credit union) to a zero balance and was denied from making any further transactions. Not so with National City! From 11/25 to 11/30 I sustained 8 overdraft charges at $34.00 each. If this wasn’t bad enough, from the period of 11/29 to 12/11 they also socked me for 13 continuous overdraft charges at $8.00 a day for a grand total of $376.00 in charges. In the mean time, I must have racked up several more $8.00 a day charges up until today’s date. When I complained to the branch, they did subtract 3 of the $34.00 charges from my account. When it was all said and done it cost me well over three hundred dollars. What I nice Christmas present!\r

FOR LEGAL PURPOSES, THE SITUATION AND VIEW POINTS EXPRESSED IN THIS REVIEW ARE OF MY OPINION AND MAY OR MAY NOT DIFFER FROM THOSE OF NATIONAL CITY BANK. BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THOUGH THAT I HAVE ALL THE DOCUMENTATION TO BACK UP WHAT I'M CLAIMING (MY OPINION OF COURSE).\r
Pros: In a good location, neat and clean, friendly employees
Cons: High Overdraft Charges That Are Unethical In My Opinion
