I mailed a prescription for a controlled substance that is necessary for my son and 9 days later checked on the status. They were holding the prescription because there was a problem with my credit card. The problem being they could not read the credit card number that I had written on the back of the script because the script had been folded. First, there has never been a problem by anyone reading my writing. Second, when were they going to notify me? Third, their envelop is too small for scripts to fit in and MUST be folded. Fourth, where does it state not to fold the prescription? They also had 3 credit cards that they could have chosen from on file. It's very, very important that my son continue this medication daily. The person I spoke with told me that I could contact my doctor for an emergency 14 day supply. She does not KNOW, CARE, nor UNDERSTAND that my insurance company charges by the prescription, which would have been another $130, no matter if it's 14 pills or 90!! That is the reason I use them in the first place, otherwise I would NEVER, EVER use this company! It is only by the restrictions placed on us by our insurance company and the current economic situation that I use them! When I spoke with the clerk she said they had received the scrpt 4 business days ago. She ran the credit card through as we spoke and I demanded that the script be sent to me overnight at no charge since we needed it immediately and they had not contacted me. She assured me it was ready to be dispensed and once it is shipped it will be sent overnight. Two days later we still had not received the meds my son needed. Today is 14 days since I mailed the prescription. I called and spoke with a supervisor and was told to expect the medication today. I asked him how long it takes to process a prescription and he said maximum is 28 days. Just remember when using this company it will take 28 days to receive your prescription! Your Dr. will need to write script early Pros: Prescription is charged by the number, not be the pills Cons: Horrible delivery time, horrible customer service, no communication
