Taj Palace is a delight. It's friendly and relaxed, and as you watch the regulars any night of the week, you realize it has a very loyal following.
Then you taste the food, and you understand why. The curries are just amazing, and the naan is chewy/crunchy perfect. Tandoori chicken is equally delicious.
The service is attentive but not annoyingly so. They have a bar so you can get a beer or a cocktail with your meal. The decor is not fancy, so if you are looking for fine dining you won't find that here.
It is a place where I will go again and again, and I can name on one hand the restaurants that have ever attained that status for me. It's a very great pleasure to eat in this restaurant, I highly recommend it.
